The Parc 55 WYNDHAM is where we suggest to get your room.
They are big and the hotel is known for hosting all of the incoming traffic that accompany big conventions here in the city.

Another route is to get any hotel that is in the Union Square vicinity. This includes anything off of Market St between Embarcadero (1st-5th st max!)
Any further than this is you will be entering the Tenderloin…
Which will bring nothing but headaches and you may encounter a very bad situation if you intend to walk home after having a few drinks at dinner.

Hotel Palomar is one of our favorites. It's boutique and their restaurant is epic.
It's a bit more but if you have two couples to split it up it's worth it.
